Integrated Reporting

<IR> Investor Network

“State of the art Integrated Reporting… gives us a much
more complete picture of the long term prospects of the
business, and helps us make better investment decisions.”
Euan Munro, CEO, Aviva Investors

Core to the IIRC’s strategy is ensuring that corporate reporting meets the needs of providers of financial capital, including investors. The <IR> Investor Network enables investors to provide their perspective on needs and directions in corporate reporting. It also provides a forum for articulating the benefits of Integrated Reporting and to advocate for innovations which meet investor needs in keeping with aligning investment decisions to wider goals of financial stability and sustainable development.

Members of the network were active in shaping the International <IR> Framework and are now engaging with Business Network participants to provide feedback on leading practice in reporting.

The IIRC collaborates with Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) to operate the Investor Network. It was launched in March 2012 and is Chaired by Colin Melvin, CEO Hermes EOS. The network comprises over 35 global investor organizations.

Marietta Miemietz, Director of Pharmaceutical Advisory Services, Primavenue, talks about why investors need better information, how Integrated Reporting can help attract longer-term investment, and the role of investors in becoming more about stewardship.
