IIRC announced as affiliate of Annual Net Impact Approaches Conference, 23 May 2019

This year, the IIRC is pleased to be one of six Affiliates supporting the annual Net Impact Approaches Conference to be held on 23 May 2019 in London. The event convenes leading experts and organisations to discuss the latest initiatives, and best practice, around businesses and financial institutions measuring and valuing environmental and social impacts, and setting associated positive impact targets. Sessions this year include:

An overview of the latest and forthcoming associated initiatives from the six Affiliates, plus others.
Why and how Anglo American, ACTIAM, BASF, Berkeley Group and others are measuring, valuing and setting net positive targets for their impacts.
An exciting choice of eight break-out sessions to gain deeper insights – including the UK launch of both the Social and Human Capital Protocol and of a new Assurance Checklist for valuing capitals, plus a master class on Integrated Profit & Loss Accounts and a session on Financial Accounts of the future.
Panel discussions on the potential for sustainable finance and other incentives to help strengthen the business case for action.
