Alexsandro Broedel Lopes

Alexsandro Broedel Lopes is Finance Executive Director at Itaú Unibanco S.A. He is also a member of the Accounting Standards Advisory Forum of the International Accounting Standards Board, a board member at CETIP and Instituto de Resseguros do Brasil and Professor at the University of São Paulo (Accounting and Law School).

He was previously Commissioner of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission, a member of the Audit Committee of BMF&Bovespa and Consultant at law firm Mattos Filho. He has taught at EAESP-FGV (São Paulo School of Business Administration) and Manchester Business School.

He graduated in Law and Accounting at the University of São Paulo and has a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Manchester Business School. He has written several books and technical articles, published in Brazil and abroad.
