Göran Tidström

Göran Tidström is the immediate past president of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). In this capacity he was engaged in the work and build-up of the IIRC of which he was a member.   He is a former partner and chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers Sweden.

As President for the European Federation of Accountants he was leading the work of the accounting profession in close cooperation with the European Commission during the years of the change-over to the euro and the decision to implement IFRS in Europe.  Göran was the initiator to the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) and the chairman of its Supervisory Board for an initial 8 year period.

He has served on various other international and national committees on financial reporting, corporate governance and sustainability.
