Hans Hoogervorst

Chairman

Hans Hoogervorst previously chaired the executive board of the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets, the technical committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions, and the Monitoring Board of the IFRS Foundation. He was appointed as a co-chair of the Financial Crisis Advisory Group, a high-level group of business leaders with international markets experience advising the IASB and the FASB on their response to the 2008-9 financial crisis.

Between 1998 and 2007 he held a number of positions in the Dutch Government, including minister of finance, minister of health, welfare and sport, and state secretary for social affairs.
