About ICMA Pakistan

Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) is the premier professional accounting body, enacted through an Act of Parliament to regulate and promote the profession of Management Accountancy in Pakistan. It is a founding member of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) since 1974; Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) since 1980; and South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) since 1984.

Members of ICMA Pakistan pride themselves on their expertise in the areas of Business Planning and Development, Operational Management, Financial Management, Cost Management, Tariff setting, Risk Management, Taxation and Corporate Affairs. Currently, the Institute has more than 6,000 members working in almost every sector of the economy.

The Institute is governed by the National Council of ICMA Pakistan which has the overall responsibility for strategic planning and development of the institute. The National Council comprises of high performing people from diverse backgrounds with widespread market recognition who are committed and determined to play a dynamic role to lead the Institute as one of the best professional institutions in the world imparting management accounting education, producing ethical management accountants and delivering best in class products and services.
