Mark Moody-Stuart is Chairman of Hermes Equity Ownership Services and was Chairman of the Royal Dutch Shell Group from 1998 to 2001 and of Anglo American plc from 2002 to 2009.
After a doctorate in geology in 1966 at Cambridge University, he worked for Shell starting as an exploration geologist, living in Holland, Spain, Oman, Brunei, Australia, Nigeria, Turkey and Malaysia, and UK.
