Professor Kunio Ito

Professor Kunio Ito of Hitotsubashi University in Japan is a well respected government advisor. Professor Ito has been instrumental in the adoption of Integrated Reporting in Japan. The ‘Ito Review’ – a report produced as a result of the discussions over the past year of the ‘Competitiveness and Incentives for Sustainable Growth: Building Favourable Relationships between Companies and Investors’ project was chaired by Professor Ito.

Professor Ito is President of Japan Investor Relations Association and the former President of Japan Accounting Association. He is the Chairman of the Award of Creation of Corporate Value at Tokyo Stock Exchange.
