Sandra Guerra

Sandra is immediate past Chair of the Board of Directors of the IBGC (Brazilian Institute for Corporate Governance) and one of its founders. She is the founding partner of Better Governance, a Brazilian-based consultancy. Sandra has served on listed and non-listed companies’ boards as member or chair and also participated in advisory boards. She was twice member of the Board of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN). She was also the Companies Circle of the Latin American Corporate Governance Roundtable coordinator. She holds a M.Sc. (Master of Science) degree in Business Administration at University of São Paulo (USP) and her research focus is the board of directors. She is also an Accredited Board Director at IBGC and an Accredited Mediator at CEDR – Center for Effective Dispute Resolution, of London, UK.
