BSD Consulting named <IR> Foundation Partner for IIRC Training Programme

Posted 5 May, 2016

The International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) is pleased to announce BSD Consulting as the first <IR> Foundation Partner for the delivery and promotion of the <IR> Training Programme.

As an <IR> Foundation Partner, BSD Consulting will provide training to support businesses as they enhance the way they think, plan and report the story of their business through integrated thinking and reporting.

BSD Consulting is the first of a range of organisations, including consultancies, academic institutions, professional associations and training providers, that will help develop individuals’ skills and build capacity for organisations to implement Integrated Reporting by developing and delivering training through <IR> Training.

As BSD’s Content Development Partner, The University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB) has long-standing experience and expertise in developing management training programmes. The Center for Corporate Governance in Africa at USB works closely with USB Executive Education in applying research and rolling out management training programmes developed for managers from diverse industry sectors.

Organisations are using <IR> to communicate a clear, concise integrated story that explains how all of their resources are creating value. <IR> is helping businesses to think holistically about their strategy and plans, make informed decisions and manage key risks to build investor and stakeholder confidence and improve future performance. It is shaped by a diverse coalition including business leaders and investors to drive a global evolution in corporate reporting.

This training agreement will mean that <IR> adoption is supported by high-quality training programmes, with consistent standards of delivery enabling a business to tell its value creation story.
