Graham Terry

Graham Terry

Graham, a South African chartered accountant, trained with Ernst & Young and studied at the University of Cape Town. He is currently Head: Office Of The Executive President, at The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, where he is also a member of the SAICA Board.

He has been a guest speaker at numerous conferences and he has had numerous articles published on accounting, auditing and sustainability. He is the author of the book “Green: Why corporate leaders need to embrace sustainability to ensure future profitability.”

He has served as a technical advisor to South African representatives on the International Accounting Standards Committee and the Council of the International Federation of Accountants. He has served on various boards and is currently the chairman of XBRL South Africa.

He served on the International Value Measurement and Reporting Collaboration based in Canada and he is a member of the editorial board of the South African Journal of Accounting Research. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the World Innovation Challenge. He is chairman of the Integrated Reporting Working Group in South Africa.
