Jason A. Voss, CFA is CEO of Active Investment Management (AIM) Consulting, LLC, a firm advising active investment managers on how to improve their cultures and performance. Prior, he served as global Content Director at CFA Institute. Previously Jason was co-Portfolio Manager of the Davis Appreciation & Income Fund. He is the author of multiple books, including Return of the Active Manager, The Intuitive Investor, and Valuation Techniques: Discounted Cash Flow, Earnings Quality, Measures of Value Added, and Real Options. Jason is a frequent writer and speaker about how active investment managers may improve their performance.

Voss has published research in multiple journals, including the Journal of Private Equity, the Journal of Behavioural Finance, and the Swiss accounting journal, IRZ. Research interests include: financial statement analysis; geopolitics; intuition; lie detection; and meditation. Jason earned his B.A. in Economics, and MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
