Richard Sexton

Richard joins the IIRC board having been Vice Chairman; Global Assurance at PwC.

Until 30 June 2018, Richard was a member of PricewaterhouseCooper’s Global Leadership Team with responsibility for Assurance including audit.

During his 38 years with PwC he held a variety of senior business leadership roles as well as working with many of the Network’s largest clients. He was a member of the Global Leadership Team from June 2013 to June 2018 and PwC UK’s Executive Board from June 2006 to June 2013, initially as UK Assurance Leader and then as Head of Reputation and Policy. He has lived and worked in New York and Hong Kong in addition to London, which is his home.

Richard is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He graduated with honours as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Operational Research from Southampton University in 1980. He is married with four adult children.
